  1. Have you ever watched your video in slow motion? You end up hands forward with some wrist angle.

  2. Honestly. This way is heaps better for the average handicap golfer than Phil’s method. I’m off a 19 and has serious trouble trying to get Phil’s method down. Went to my pro and told me just use the shoulders and passive hands. Works well. Alot better results.

  3. Thank you for your comment. Don’t hesitate to post a question that can help your golf on our Facebook, You tube or Twitter accounts..

  4. Nice video! I really struggled with my short game a few months back & switched to this technique, much better. A lot more margin for error.

  5. The best way to get the club back to neutral is to do what we call exaggeration management were you feel the clubhead do exactly the opposite.
When practicing experiment feeling that you flick the clubhead under the ball! It sounds bizarre but you will actually return the hands back to neutral.
Be carefull how long you practice this for as after time you will be flicking the club under the ball.
Check out our “change your golf swing” video on our channel which explains this.
    Hope this helps

  6. I still can’t get the club back to neutral at impact, my shoulders rotate too much and my hands still lead, any advice?

  7. Chipping this way will not affect the spin too much as you will be returning to impact with more loft on the club face. Experiment with it and let us know how you get on. Thanks

  8. …really sound and reliable advice: it’s a bit like the method Jonathan Yarwood teaches.

Thank you for this and the other chipping uploads. I’ll continue working at this until I find a ‘balance’ between all the methods out there that suits me.

  9. Ok no problem we’ll have a short putt drill recorded tomorrow which will be uploaded next week.
Check out our other videos to see if they can be of help and we will also be posting drills and challenges on our Facebook page. Thanks
