As reported on 29th April 2014 the 28 year old golf player Anthony Kim has not played golf for two years in spite of being a promising golf player. He has not even played the sport event of PGA.
Kim’s agent does not give any positive feedback on the return of Anthony Kim. For the record now golf does not even amuses him so he does not play it for amusement either. Kim was at the peak of his career in 2008 when he won at AT& T Championship and at Quail Hollow. His rank was 11th in the world when he finished the year and earned $4.6 million. It was in 2010 that his performance began to crumble and again in 2012 he suffered through two injuries- one was the severe Achilles one.
After his injuries he has vanished and not played since. There is no sign which suggests that he is going to strive for a comeback. His ranking is 1,500 in the world. But news from his agent Hawkins is that he is living and is in Texas. The agent is going to see him and get the final results. It looks as if it is an odd tale as if he were fit he would have done exceedingly well at his age of 22. But after 6 years and the sport is out of his hands. No sign of hope is visible for his comeback in 2014. Being a player in top ten and four years later not even playing anymore is a dangerous sign.
It is a part of sport and injuries keep on happening to a player but such an odd injury at a crucial time is a sign of unfortunate event. The lights seem to be out for him.
