Luke Donald to be a part of Scottish Open

Luke Donald, Louis Oosthuizen and Ernie Els are among the golfers confirmed to be a part of Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open which is all set to take place next month at the Castle Stuart Golf Links. The event will start on 12th July and continue till 15th July. The current world number one player, thirty-four year old Luke Donald will dream of having a double by getting the Quaich trophy after he got the BMW PGA Championship previous month.

The English golfer now stays at top form after getting Race to Dubai as well as US PGA Tour Money List and Scottish Open during 2011. Other top names in this championship include Sandy Lyle, Colin Montgomerie, Scots Paul Lawrie, Shaun Micheel, José Maria Olazábal, Padraig Harrington, Angel Carbera and Rich Beem.

The championship director Peter Adams told that they are pleased to have a field of the highest quality and they will be at Castle Stuart in just three weeks. Golf enthusiasts can surely look for a top class contest in that event.

Ernie Els, the South African golfer, is looking for a 3rd Scottish Open title. Last year, he shot 3 rounds in the 60s and he comes to Scotland with a strong performance. He told that even everyone who knows him well, knows that he loves playing in Scotland and he is quite excited about the prospect of returning to Castle Stuart again. He enjoyed the layout of the course previous year when he played pretty well.
