Luke Donald loses bogey free run

Luke Donald’s bogey on 3rd hole snapped a run of 102 holes without any drop shot at DP World Tour Championship. But that point saved as the backdrop of a bad final day that saw the fifty four hold co-leader hit seventy one and ended a distant joint 3rd, which is 5 shots behind the winner Rory McIlroy. The world number two was targeting for his 2nd back to back world title after prevailing the pack last week at Japan Tour’s Dunlop Phoenix.

Donald told that he thought that it was going to take place at some point of time because all good things come to an end. Luke also dropped a shot Jumeirah Golf Estate’s Earth Course on the twelfth hole for good measure. He added that he struggled to get any momentum that day; and he felt a bit flat and could not get things going.
After that the English golfer told that he was not fit hundred percent physically; in fact he was dealing with sinus infection. He added that he would go under an operation to fix all the problems.

Recently, Luke Donald moved up a place as he overtook American golfer Tiger Woods by winning in Japan’s Dunlop Phoenix tournament.  Luke had led by 4 shots while doing to the final round and finished 5 strokes ahead of Hideki Matsuyama. This is the 34 year old golfer’s first tournament after he defended Wentworth’s PGA Championship in May.
